Instructions & Recommendations

How to inflate, deflate, and safely use your HASSKEH390 iSUP.

Inflating Your HASSKEH

  1. Preparation: Remove your HASSKEH from the carry bag and lay it on a flat surface with the top side facing up.
  2. Pump Setup: Set up your pump and ensure the hose is properly connected to the "inflate" mode.
  3. Valve #1: Locate Valve #1, which controls the middle section separating the top and bottom. There is no need to inflate this section — leave the pin in the Deflate (down) position, allowing some air to remain in that section.
  4. Valve #2: Attach the pump hose securely in the locked position of Valve #2, with the valve pin in the UP position. Inflate between 8 and 10 PSI.
  5. Valve #3: Attach the pump hose to Valve #3 and inflate. A pressure of 9 PSI is generally sufficient, but you can adjust to your preference. Always follow the minimum and maximum pressure levels indicated on the valve.

Your HASSKEH should now be rigid and stable. Close the valves securely — you're ready to head to the water!

Deflating Your HASSKEH

  1. Retrieve and Position: Carefully carry your HASSKEH out of the water and lay it on a flat surface.
  2. Valve #3: Open Valve #3 to initiate deflation of the bottom portion. Use the pump in deflate mode to speed up the process.
  3. Valve #2: Open Valve #2 to deflate the top portion.
  4. Valve #1: Valve #1 should already be open. If not, open it to allow the middle section to deflate.
  5. Release Air: With all valves open, air will naturally escape. Use the pump in deflate mode to help accelerate the process.
  6. Roll the HASSKEH: Start rolling from the front (tie-down) side, keeping all valve pins locked in the down position to remove as much air as possible.
  7. Secure with Strap: Use the supplied strap to secure the rolled HASSKEH.
  8. Storage: Place the rolled HASSKEH inside the carry bag until your next adventure.

Recommendations & Warnings

  1. Inflate Valves 2 and 3 to the recommended 8–10 PSI range.
  2. Avoid inflating in direct sunlight for extended periods — heat can cause overexpansion. Inflate in a shaded or cooler area.
  3. Once inflated and in the water, the HASSKEH should not bend. It will flex under weight, but should not create a crease.
  4. Valve 1 is for the middle section only. Leave its pin in the Deflate (down) position.
  5. In open water (lake or ocean), always use the ankle leash. Falling off without it in open water could leave you stranded.
  6. On a river, do NOT use the ankle leash. The current can drag the board and pull you under, or the leash can snag on submerged objects.
  7. Never abandon your board, even if you lose your paddle — you can paddle with your hands, which is much easier than swimming to shore.
  8. Use the Tie Down to secure any coolers or gear. Never leave loose objects on top while paddling.
  9. You can stand or sit at the rear or middle. With 2–3 people, sit at the back and paddle the group — always use caution with multiple people on board.
  10. Be cautious near rocky shores or sharp objects — ramming the board against them risks puncturing the drop-stitch material.
  11. Consider taking a paddleboarding safety course to improve your skills and water safety knowledge.
  12. Monitor the weather forecast. Return to shore immediately if you notice storms, strong winds, or lightning.
